Vancouver-based Aequilibrium, a provider of virtual reality development, and Unity, a real-time 3D development platform, announced an alliance for new VR innovation for clients across a variety of industries.

The partnership will combine VR development expertise with software solutions to deliver customer-centric strategies, enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. By bridging the realms of cutting-edge technology and strategic solutions, we remain true to our commitment to customer service – this time by fostering seamless integrations between the physical and digital domains. VR Innovation post COVID

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual reality has experienced exponential growth as a training and skills enhancement platform. VR serves as a cost-effective alternative to in-person training, fostering engagement, risk mitigation, and significant improvements in employee retention.

The union of Aequilibrium’s skilled delivery of VR training and Unity’s digital twins capabilities opens new opportunities for industrial clients. Moreover, this would ensure compliance, worker safety, and accident mitigation.

Founded by Adrian Moise in 2012, Aequilibrium is a digital services and consulting provider. Adrian has a diverse background working with tech companies in Europe, the US, and Canada.

Unity Software Inc. leads in creating interactive, real-time 3D (RT3D) content. They equip developers to create interactive 2D, 3D, VR, and AR experiences. According to Crunchbase, the company raised over US$500 million in funding before going public in 2021.

As per Tracxn, Epic Games (Cary), Rec Room (Seattle) and Manticore Games (San Mateo) are some of Unity’s competitors.
