It was just announced in an official release that Bell completes the FX Innovation acquisition. FX Innovation is a Montreal-based company that provides cloud-focused managed services and workflow automation solutions. Bell announced the acquisition last month and was aiming to complete in Q2 or Q3 2023, after regulatory approvals.

Founded in 2002, FX Innovation is one of the leading providers of end-to-end multi-cloud services. Moreover, it also has well-known IT process automation solutions and cloud consulting services. In addition, the company has extensive experience integrating ServiceNow into business environments both domestically and abroad. FX Innovation’s bilingual services also makes leading cloud providers, like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, accessible to its customers.

“We are very excited about this important announcement, and to partner with a fellow Québec-based company to advance cloud services for organizations in Canada and beyond. By joining forces with Bell, we will accelerate our journey to become a global player, enable companies to realize their digital transformation initiatives, and ultimately generate a positive impact for our economy.”

FX Innovation acquisition to help Bell expand its managed cloud offerings

Bell’s idea behind the buy is to acquire FX Innovation’s agile culture and deep cloud services expertise. Further, Bell aims to combine those with its next-generation fibre and 5G networks, resources, and scale. Collectively, this will enable Bell to deliver leading-edge technology solutions for Canadian businesses and accelerate their digital transformation. Guillaume Bazinet will continue to run FX Innovation on an independent basis, which should allow the firm to retain its startup culture.

“We’re thrilled to officially welcome FX Innovation to the Bell group of companies. Together, we’ll bolster our innovative service offerings for customers looking to improve application performance, streamline their operations, and secure information using the world’s most capable cloud providers, and backed by our world-leading, resilient networks.”
